After being signed to New Zealand-agency Clyne at age 15, Emma is now based in New York and pursuing her modelling career internationally.
We caught up with the up with the beautiful, blonde, bombshell to ask her 21 questions...
Where do you call home?
I’m living between Sydney and Auckland. I’m off to New York in a matter of weeks, beyond excited!
How did you get into modelling?
I got told to send some photos to an agency.
What song do you have on repeat right now?
Overnight Celebrity by Twista.
What’s your go-to dance move?
The sprinkler, it’s only the best dad dance move ever??
Which Film or TV character you most relate to?
Eleven from Stranger Things, she’s so boss.
What movie awkwardly made you cry?
I’m more of a ‘gets a lump in my throat’ kind of person when it comes to watching emotional movies, I think I properly cried watching Marley and Me.
What do you consider to be the greatest invention?
Toasters and massage chairs.
Where do you feel most at home?
Up north in Pataua, sitting on the beach with my feet in the sand and the smell of sunscreen.
What is your proudest achievement so far?
Walking for Oscar De La Renta.
Next holiday destination?
What will you be wearing on holiday?
If I’m not in my swimmers I’ll be pairing white tees with shorts and belts, I’m a sneaker girl 99% of the time.
What does la gioia della vita mean to you?
I think the Joy of Life means to feel content with where you are and who you surround yourself with - and a lot of laughter.
What is the biggest risk you’ve ever taken?
Leaving home and living overseas by myself.
Best book or poem that you have read in the past 2 months?
The Catcher in the Rye is a really good read!
Best book ever?
Harry Potter, duh!!!
Best album ever?
Channel Orange by Frank Ocean. Don’t think you can get sick of that one.
What’s the best advice you’ve been given?
Run your own race and nobody else's.
What is your earliest childhood memory?
When I just started school I got dared to put somebodies lunch box in the loo and lock it from the inside. (The lunch box was empty) I still got in a lot of trouble!
If you could wish for an unlimited supply of one thing, what would it be?
Peanut butter, on tap please.
Which festival sums you up and why?
I’ve never been but I really want to go to Burning Man, the outfits this year were so dope.
