Ruby S/S 2015
Slow down on the garden path and get lost in a paradise of heady English blooms. For this is where you’ll find the RUBY girl this season.
Drawing the natural world ever closer, RUBY's Spring 2015 collection Nectarine is in a garden state of mind. This season, strong can also be pretty and one can never have enough flowers.
Designer Deanna Didovich has borrowed from the botanical with a polite dose of British sensibility. A visit to London’s Columbia Road flower market informed her vision, as did the work of famous floral illustrators Elizabeth Twining and Pierre-Joseph Redouté.
Botanical patterns are plentiful, with geometric daisy and neon floral prints, while the colour palette is bold. Poppy red, hunter green and midnight navy hues are balanced by white marle, ivory and blush pink.
