To celebrate the last day of 2015 we've brought you a delicious cocktail recipe from our friends at Seafarers to complete your New Year's Eve merrymaking.
We caught up with Seafarers cocktail connoisseur, Kula to find out what delicious tipple he'll be drinking to welcome in 2016. Lucky for you he has passed on the recipe...
LA VIOLET
45ml Tanqueray London Dry Gin
20ml fresh lemon juice
15ml simple sugar syrup
15ml Liqueur de Violet
Soda water
Edible flowers
1/4 lemon rind
Directions:
- Measure and pour your Tanqueray London Dry Gin into a cocktail shaker
- Add fresh lemon juice, simple sugar syrup and Liqueur de Violet
- Add ice and shake well
- Strain into a tall glass with fresh ice
- Top with soda water and garnish with edible flowers and a twist of lemon
You'll be able to enjoy the new La Violet summer cocktail overlooking the harbour at Seafarers from early February 2016. If you're lucky, Kula might even make it for you.
