How would you describe the RUBERRY Sherbet flavour?
RUBERRY is a 'Sherbet,' a unique frozen creation that dances between the realms of sorbet and ice cream. Made up of NZ raspberries, strawberries, organic coconut milk, and a subtle hibiscus infusion, this flavour boasts a vibrant, velvety pink appearance, and delivers a refreshing yet creamy taste reminiscent of the quintessential kiwi summer treat - real fruit ice cream. To add a sense of celebration, we've added rainbow sprinkles throughout, providing both a textural element and visual playfulness. Each spoonful is a mental escape to a sunny beach holiday.
What makes the RUBERRY Sherbet flavour unique compared to other Sea People flavours?
RUBERRY is unique because it allowed me to experiment with a Sherbet, a delightful fusion between sorbet and ice cream, marking the first of its kind in our cabinet and adding a bright and fresh flavour to our offerings. What makes this flavour even more special is the subtle infusion of hibiscus flowers. It's a personal ritual, my way of setting a deep intention and a blessing upon the ice cream, deliberately connecting our creations to the land and honouring the transition of the seasons, hello summer!

What was your favourite of the process in creating this flavour?
My favorite part of the creative process was blending my two great loves: food and fashion. While I usually spend my days in the kitchen, I sometimes indulge in daydreams where these two worlds come together. I imagine myself in beautiful attire, creating in a place where messy work benches, dishes, and hair nets don't matter. It's a world where the empowering feeling of wearing a lovely outfit merges with my culinary imagination. This vision inspired RUBERRY, a flavor that beautifully marries the realms of fashion and food.
