Purpose of the Role

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead the finance function across the group and contribute as a member of the Executive Team. 
  • Deliver accurate and timely Management Accounts, Board reporting, cashflow forecasting, and other core financial outputs. 
  • Provide commercially grounded analysis that improves decision-making, challenges assumptions, and supports business performance. 
  • Lead short- and long-term cashflow planning and management, including foreign exchange exposure, payments, Accounts Receivable, and working capital oversight. 
  • Maintain strong financial controls and ensure the integrity of financial data across the group. 
  • Partner with leaders across the business on budgeting, forecasting, reforecasting, planning, and performance. 
  • Lead, coach and support the Finance Team to deliver high-quality work to a deadline. 
  • Strengthen systems, reporting and ways of working so the business can operate with greater clarity, speed and control. 
  • Use sound judgement in the adoption of AI and other new technologies, ensuring they improve thinking, delivery and efficiency rather than creating distraction, unnecessary complexity or weakened controls.

  • The GM, Board and Exec Team have easy visibility of financial performance, cash position and key risks. 
  • The FBP is a trusted collaborator on the Executive Team, bringing clear, commercially grounded insight to make better decisions, navigate trade-offs, and drive stronger business performance.

  • Provide clear and well-grounded financial information that supports the Finance Business Partner and wider team in understanding performance and making decisions.
  • Support cashflow discipline through accurate transaction processing, reconciliations, and timely completion of finance tasks.
  • Maintain strong financial controls and ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data across systems.
  • Work with teams across the business to track performance, assist with finance queries, and support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Contribute to improving systems, reporting and ways of working so the business can operate with greater clarity, speed and consistency.

  2. Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate constructive feedback.

Availability:
