RUBY SAYS RECYCLE PART-TIME SALES ASSISTANT

Senior Financial Accountant

We are on the look out for a Senior Financial Accountant to join the De Vere Apparel and RUBY team for a fixed term period of approximately 12 months. This person will be supporting the Finance team during some internal movements while one of the team is on parental leave. De Vere Apparel and RUBY are community-driven companies. As a Senior Financial Accountant at De Vere Apparel and RUBY, you will be responsible for:

  • Business partnering with the De Vere Apparel and RUBY Store and Online teams to proactively track and report on results for trade against forecast scenarios, problem solve and support finance queries.
  • Support the preparation and completion of monthly management accounts and year end statutory accounts within required deadlines, specifically:

  • Reconcile monthly sales and margin journals.
  • Reconcile monthly accrual and prepayment journals.
  • Reconcile key Balance Sheet accounts, most importantly inventory.
  • Month end invoicing.

  • Assist the Finance Business Partner with the annual forecasting and quarterly reforecasting process.
  • Support the De Vere Apparel business with pricing and commercial information for tender submission.
  • Support and act as a mentor for the Finance Assistant.
  • Other ad hoc tasks and projects as required to support the Finance Business Partner and other departments within the De Vere Apparel and RUBY companies.

 

Reporting into the Finance Business Partner, we are looking
for someone who fits the following criteria:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant.
  • At least five years of experience, previous experience in Retail or Wholesale industries a plus.
  • Experience working with Xero and Cin 7/DEAR preferred.
  • Someone with a mature, positive, can do attitude and who can prioritise workload in alignment with what best meets business needs.
  • Can maintain great internal relationships.

 

This role is based in the RUBY Head Office in Grey Lynn and
can be between 32 – 40 hours a week over 4-5 days.

Logistics Assistant – Delivery Driver 

We are looking for a Part-Time Delivery Driver to join our Logistics team at our head office location. You will be completing daily runs to all five of our Auckland Ruby store locations, delivering and picking up stock and assisting the Logistics Team Manager with outstanding online order fulfillment. With this role you will be joining a creative, diverse, inspiring and fast paced industry. This role is for 20 hours per week across Mon-Fri, to be between 12pm-6pm each day.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE 

Provide accurate dispatch and delivery of online stock from both the online store and all Auckland stores. 

Operate daily pick ups and drop offs of stock, new deliveries and Auckland Store orders.  

Assist the Logistics Manager - Team with daily tasks to ensure delivery deadlines are met and online dispatch is completed within the targeted timeframe.  

Following all company policies and procedures according to the training manual. 

SPECIFIC TASKS AND DUTIES OF THE ROLE 

  • Driving to all Auckland stores to drop off and pick up stock and deliveries. 
  • Transporting online order stock from all Auckland stores to the online store for dispatch 
  • Ensure stock is packed efficiently and on time for van run. 
  • Efficient dispatch of online orders in accordance with training manual 
  • Assist with the daily running of the online store, including stock management, weekly tasks and general maintenance 
  • Assisting in quality assurance checking of product 
  • Follow all company procedures and protocols as outlined in the training manual and by your manager

Logistics Assistant - Part Time

We are looking for a part-time Logistics Assistant to join our Head Office Logistics team. Experience in a similar customer service role is preferred but not essential. Applicants must be passionate about giving our online Rubettes high quality service as well as being committed to meeting revenue and customer satisfaction targets. You must have excellent time management skills, great multitasking abilities, be driven to meet sales targets and a love for our RUBY and Liam brands.

The successful applicant will have a full driver’s license and availability to work 8-12 hours per week with potential for more hours during the festive season. You must be available to work over the Christmas and New Year period and must be available to work one weekend day.

We are looking for someone who can successfully do the following:

1.    Provide excellent customer service to new and returning Rubettes.

2.    Efficient dispatch of online orders within the targeted time frame 

3.    Assist with on time dispatching of stock from Head Office 

4.    Respond to customer queries through all channels including email, phone, and Gorgias.

5.    Ensuring new processes and updates to the Logistics Team are being followed and feedback provided to the Logistics 3IC on the daily functioning tasks. 

6.    Assist with the daily running of the store, including stock management and general maintenance.

7.    Follow all company procedures and protocols as outlined in the training manual and by your manager.

8.    Opening and closing the store when required. Following all lock up procedures

9.    Maintaining tidy and well organised stock rooms in Head Office

10. Any other tasks as required to assist the smooth operation of RUBY Head Office & IRL Stores

11. Assist in daily pick-ups, drop offs of Auckland store orders, deliveries, and stock.
