Firebird, a true Rubette favourite, has launched a new season shade, butter!
Our Firebird fabric is a light-weight crepe fabric, made from NAIA™ Acetate and polyester. It wears beautifully and is designed to last.
Like most companies in the clothing industry, we have a complex supply chain, from raw material extraction or farming, to the processing of fibers, spinning, weaving and dyeing, to the end supplier of the fabrics. One of our favourite things about the Firebird fabric, is its supply chain transparency, from the region the NAIA™ Acetate is grown to where each of the fabric steps are undertaken and where the garment is made!
See the journey that our Firebird fabric goes through below:
Over several decades, the garment supply chain has been built in an opaque manner, with many facilities and the people working in them, remaining hidden from businesses and the end consumer. We have been continuously working to improve the transparency of our supply chain - from the raw material through to the CMT process. We make sure to display as much traceability information under the ‘Fabric + Make’ section of a product as we can.
