The B/B Cupholder is designed for one thing, but many occassions. Made to accompany your morning coffee from that place downstairs, mid-afternoon tea breaks, and weekend half-cafs at 5pm to keep you going all night.

The B/B (Braided/Beaded) Collection pays tribute to traditional craftsmanship while staying true to TANCHEN's mix of practicality and whimsy. Woven with wooden beads and nylon elastic yarn, these B/B objects are quietly geometric, offering a subtle fluidity even as they maintain their shape.

TANCHEN Studio is a collaborative project between Sanchia Tan and Amber Chen. They focus on textiles as the basis of our practice, and take a process-based approach to design with a focus on new materials and tactility. From their studios based in Singapore and Shanghai, they create functional textiles that can be used as autonomous and artful elements within a living space. TANCHEN always aim to source and design mindfully as they celebrate the potential of materials, craft, and techniques.

Custom Sizing

We offer custom sizing in most current styles, should you be after a standard size which is outside the sizes we currently make, or need a style off the rack altered for an access need.

This service is designed to make our size range more inclusive for our Rubettes. If you wish to order a custom size, you will only pay the standard retail price of the piece you are buying as we believe everyone should be able to wear the clothes they love.

We currently do not offer custom sizing in knitwear or denim, as these styles are made offshore and require a higher quantity to be made, nor do we remake sold out styles in standard sizing. Please note that this is subject to fabric availability and this is not a made to measure service.
