Dear Rubettes,

I’m so excited to introduce you to our new Spring collection, Agua. After the layers and weight of winter dressing, Agua is our first exhale before the warmer days ahead.

The clue is in the name ~ as this collection is swimming in aqua blues, turquoise and seafoam greens. Maybe it’s my Croatian roots showing, but these colours always take me back to summers by the water.

This season, I was drawn to the idea of sporty-femme ~ bringing sporty silhouettes together with feminine detailing. You’ll see it in pieces like the Martha Maxi Dress and Coco Bodice, where the two come together in a way that feels very RUBY.

The collection was designed with this exact time of year in mind. Spring can be a funny time to dress for ~ one minute you’re convinced summer has arrived, the next you’re reaching for another layer. I wanted these to be pieces you can put on now, rather than hang in your wardrobe waiting for the weather to catch up.

I shot these images alongside my amazing team inside the workshop of local creative Emile Drescher. It felt fitting to shoot a collection we’ve poured so much into in a space where things are being imagined and made every day, right here in Tāmaki Makaurau.

Agua first arrivals launch in store & online from Thursday 27th August 2026.
