RUBY is a community-driven company. We thrive on aiming high, nailing it, and having a good time in the process.
We have an iterative working style, and are dedicated to honestly reflecting on how we are performing, celebrating our successes and working out how we can improve.
The locations of our IRL stores are ones where we love to hang out, and our shiny new RUBY HQ is something we are both proud of, and excited to develop.

It is our job to attract people who fundamentally believe in, and will contribute meaningfully to, the work that we do, AND to ensure the work environment is one where they thrive, through training, good processes and robust feedback loops.
The dismantling of conscious and unconscious biases is part of our continued work programme, and requires active participation from all team members at all levels. We have, for example, a Salary Matrix which we use to work out what each of our Rubettes are paid. Factors taken into account are the level of responsibility of the role, the nature of the work, the time served at RUBY, and the level of past experience.

Founded in 2002, RUBY is an eminent fashion label from Aotearoa. Best known and loved for its mutually nourishing relationship with its community and the way its designs embody those who wear them.
RUBY is a family-owned brand, and the care, intimacy and love that comes from this are woven into its DNA.
Today, RUBY has two brands RUBY & Liam and eight stores in Aotearoa: located in Auckland, Hamilton, Mount Maunganui, Wellington and Christchurch.
The RUBY spirit occupies a space beyond the fabrics and silhouettes that form its collections: it is a collective movement that RUBY has coined its Rubettes.
Rubettes are inclusive, multi-dimensional and progressive. Rubettes want to live life to the fullest, to make their mark on the world, and to leave the earth in a better place than they found it. Rubettes are free-spirited: they seek an abundance of joy and have an eagerness to learn, reflect and grow.
These values are stitched into each of the collections RUBY creates, and RUBY draws inspiration from its community to create pieces and provoke conversations.
